Lo más importante en su historia . . .

• Fue un conjunto musical fundado en 1968 por su guitarrista Jimmy Page en Inglaterra, con fuertes influencias del rock sinfónico , del heavy metal , del rock and roll , del soul , del blues y hasta del reggae con esta riqueza musical led zeppelin fue una de las bandas mas destacadas de la década del setenta.

• Así fue que después de actuar con muchísimo éxito en clubes brintánicos y girar con masiva afluencia de publico por los estados únicos , el grupo comenzaría con su extensa discografía con su primer álbum '' Led zeppelin I '' , un extraoridinario debut grabado en treinta días y producido y arreglado por Jimmy Page y conquistando a los fanáticos con canciones como '' Dazed and confused '', ' Good times '' o '' Babe , I' am gonna leave you ''.

• Luego continuaron con su segundo álbum con el nombre de ''Led zeppelin II'' que superó en ventas al primero alcanzan el primer puesto en los estados unidos y Gran Bretaña con temas como '' Whola lotta love '' , '' Heartbreaker '' y '' Ramble on'' .
  ya con este disco se convirtieron en un espejo básico para los conjuntos de rock surgidos desde entonces.

• Así sacarían todo el resto de su exitosa discografía hasta ''Coda'' su último cd.

• En 1975 el conjunto crearía un sello discográfico llamado Swan Song. '' Phisycal graffiti '' como debut en su propia compañía.

• En 1977 el hijo de Robert Plant , el cantante , muere y esto lo dejaria a el en una profunda depresión y alejaría al conjunto de los escenarios por un tiempo.

• en 1979 publican '' In through the out door” y retornan a sus actuaciones en vivo.

• El 25 de septiembre de 1980 uno de los mejores bateristas de todos los tiempo JohnBonham fallece , con su desaparición la banda deciden separarse y obligados a un décimo álbum publican '' Coda '' , cuyo repertorio estaba compuesto por material de archivo.
